After is a fanfiction written by imaginator1D also known as Anna Todd. The story focuses around the relationship between the character Tessa Young and Harry Styles (changed to Hardin Scott in the published version). After was originally a fanfiction centered around the boy band One Direction, but the names of the band's members were changed in the published book. A film adaptation of the series was released on April 12, 2019, receiving negative reviews from critics but mixed reviews from audiences.[1]
Tessa Young is an 18 year old college student with a simple life, excellent grade, and a sweet boyfriend. She always has things planned out ahead of time, until she meets a rude boy named Harry, with too many tattoos and piercings who shatters her plans.
